Puppy (or handler) training
Last night, I went to what they call puppy training, although I’m perfectly trained already – it’s my handlers that need the training.
First of all, I got to meet loads of other dogs. It was very exciting! A few of them were really boring, and didn’t seem to like my brand of wild excitement. One of them even cowered behind his owner! I mean, come on guys, let’s have fun!
Anyway, the lady there talked lots, but then it was my turn to shine, by obediently walking from the funny lady to my dad. Unfortunately, I saw my mate on the other side of the room. I still had my lead on, so rather than drag it around, I picked it up in my mouth, and went to see my mate. Somehow, I don’t think this is what I was supposed to do.
The one good thing is that dad bought me a new harness – called a “Freedom Harness”, of all things. Anyway, it doesn’t hurt my neck anywhere near as much as that stupid collar and lead does, so I can go wild with my mates without coughing my guts up.
I’ll see if I can get someone to take a picture of me in it, so I can show you all. It’s red, which complements my golden curly coat very well.
