Summary

Broke two fingers on last Ramblers walk and then icy/snowy conditions kept my walking to a minimum for a couple of weeks.

From my last post I walked mainly street walks with Tess and then around the Naze each day when I could hold a trekking pole in my right hand. Amazing how nervous I felt with such a relatively minor injury.

Anyway, I’m pleased that I made my target and have so enjoyed the walking. I’m not going to keep a blog (not keen on the backwards nature of the format, find them a pain to read, no flow) but will definitely keep walking.

Thursday 9th December

G dropped me at Holland this morning, after getting some sewing supplies, and I walked back (5 mls).

Tues 7th Dec

Sue and I had a great walk to Frinton and on to Parker’s today.  The weather was kind to us for a change (8 mls).

Mon 6th Dec

Gerald and I had another walk into Walton today and around the beaches (3 mls)

Sun 5th December

I’ve been a long time without a walk due to two broken fingers and subsequent snowy/icy conditions.

Today G and I walked Tess into Walton and later along the beach (3 mls).

Thur 25th Nov

25 of us (led by Jo) enjoyed a Harwich walk today in bitterly cold weather but the forecast sleet showers came a timely half an hour after we had finished. Lovely to see Eve and Mike.  I managed my trick of tripping and falling yet again. (10 mls).

Wed 24th Nov

Sue, Tess and I walked to Frinton this morning (6 mls).

Mon 22nd Nov

I walked Tess along the prom and then around Walton streets this morning (3 mls).

Sunday 21st Nov

We walked around the Naze paths this morning (3 mls).

Sat 20th Nov

Gerald, Tess and I walked to Frinton today to book the Supper Book Club and I walked Tess around the Naze end streets in the late afternoon  (8 mls).
